This Just In: Britain's in a Recession

Actually, they announced this like last Friday.

What this means to me? Awwweeesssooommeee.

The sterling dropped to an all-time low in 23 years. Currently, it costs only about 1.41 USD for 1 GBP. This is way better than what I was getting when I first arrived in London (1.64 USD for 1 GBP), and obviously better than what the poor sods studying abroad last semester got (almost 2 USD for 1 GBP).

Not only that, but the prices of things here are going to decrease soon to stimulate spending (the only way to get out of a recession, I think). Damn it feels good to... be a gangsta.

This is probably only working out for people abroad here this semester. Whatever. This makes budgeting a little easier for me.
